One of the primary tools is the sacred harp. In the Bwiti Fang, the harp (ngombi) has eight strings. In the Bwiti Missoko, the harp (moungongo) has one string.

The harp (moungongo) is a backbone, a kind of DNA of the ceremony. It connects with primordial rhythm: the rhythm of the Big Bang (vibration and sound).

Part of the purpose of the rhythm of the moungongo is to help you connect with your own rhythm in your life and those around you.
