About Bwiti Missoko
The Bwiti Missoko is a journey of going in to the body and down into the earth. It meets your question that brings you to initiation and reconnects you with your power and brings momentum for how you show up in this life.
It’s a warrior’s journey. And to show up powerfully in this life, you need to be a warrior.
With embodied understanding, healing and subtle understanding of Nature’s principles and existence itself come — all to be applied in your life (and to meet the reason why you’re doing initiation).
In this initiation, you are embodied and active: after completing internal and external purification (including
smoke baths, taking natural elements for internal cleansing, and spiritual rituals), you’re in a special condition to eat the sacred wood. From here, the bandzi engages in more rituals, including dancing, singing and spiritual practice in the forest with community to support. your journey.
The bandzi also eats a special mystical dish. The initiation includes women-only and men-only rituals and others where both come together—an alchemical meeting of masculine and feminine energies. The spiritual father and ngangas (initiated healers) are there at every step, supporting you, managing the ritual and ensuring the correct protocol is followed.
After initiation, you have time with the ngangas to understand your experience and receive more wisdom from the Bwiti Missoko Tradition.
